    The dynamic characteristics of painting with Encaustic and Oil/Wax become seductive invitations to deep dives, discovery, excavating, and creating texture and rich evocative layers.

    bio

    Gaye is a Canadian visual artist working in mixed medium painting. A formal education in Nursing and Curriculum Development slowly transitioned into facilitating wellness practices which included Art Therapy. Gaye was an Artist-in-Residence at Jasper Place High School, Edmonton, Alberta.

     

    She has studied with Judith Cornell, Stuart Cubley, Kim Bernard, Lisa Pressman, Janice Mason Steeves, Jerry McLaughlin and Cheryl Taves.

     

    Her work has been shown in Group shows and Two Woman shows in Edmonton; Alberta, Canada. Her paintings can be found in private collections in Canada, USA and Turkey.
